Here at Richter, our primary goal is to provide our clients with a world-class customer experience. Part of what makes a great customer experience is transparency - into our process, our client policies, and our pricing.
We calculate our standard pricing based on a number of factors, including project scope, standard delivery timelines, and resource load. When we receive a project with a rush timeline, the resource load often increases - in the form of assembling a more robust team and overtime hours.
This requires an adjustment of our standard pricing that varies depending on the size of the project and how quick the turnaround is. With that in mind, we’ve created a rush fee model that we feel is reasonable and fair for both Richter and our clients. This fee is in addition to the standard pricing for any given project:
5 week turnaround - 25% of the standard base video cost
4 week turnaround - 30%
3 week turnaround - 40%
2 week turnaround - 50%
Please note that the above pricing applies to 2D animated videos only. High end 3D videos typically come with a custom quoted rush fee for tight deadline projects. Richter’s rush pricing model ensures that we have the resources needed to deliver a project on a truncated timeline, while still maintaining the high level of quality that we’re known for.
