Reading StatisticsUsing Conditions at Richter
00:00 / 01:04

By L. Ron Hubbard

One can determine the condition of a stat by its slant on a graph.

  • Steep near vertical down: Non-Existence

  • Down: Danger

  • Slightly down or level: Emergency

  • Slightly up: Normal

  • Steeply up: Affluence

Power Trend

As Power is a trend (see later, Statistic Trends, Stat Interpretation), it is not judged by a single line on a graph. Power is a Normal trend maintained in a high, high range. Thus a Power Condition must be determined by more that one week’s worth of stats.
